Aldryngton Promises
As part of our curriculum offer, we also look to develop the whole child. High achievement is very important to us. However, we also believe firmly in extra-curricular opportunities through our programme of clubs, visits and events. Physical and mental health is focused upon and we encourage daily exercise through the daily mile as well as access to competitive sport. We also believe in the benefits of outdoor learning and carry out wellbeing screening and subsequent support if required. We have also developed the Aldryngton Promises that every child will have access to during their time in the school. They are:
Foundation Stage – Perform a nativity
Lower School Year A – Seeds to supper – children grow something that they can eat
Lower School Year B – Five good deeds
Middle School Year A – Building a large project together
Middle School Year B – Whole Middle School sport activity – aerobics/dance/hike
Upper School Year A – Teach a lesson
