
University ARTLAB work with Lower School
Members of Reading University’s ARTLAB team worked with Lower School classes on their “Creature in a Cup” activity. The children were challenged to create a short performance, with words and pictures, using characters made from junk materials and electronic circuits which flashed lights and made sounds.

At the Jubilee Picnic
The summer term’s event to celebrate the school’s jubilee year was a picnic, preceded by the burial of a time capsule, and followed by a performance on the stage. Finally there was the opportunity to try out the sideshows and other activities.

Middle School at Natural History Museum
Children from Middle School visited the Natural History Museum in London as part of their work on Earthquakes and Volcanoes.

School receives Defibrillator
In addition to the £2,700 children raised by sponsorship for the Green Park Challenge (which has been given to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service), Aldryngton also received an additional £300 for being the highest placed school.
